TODAY'S BLUES....

...struggling with technology is nothing new.
Here’s a little real-life, “it-don’t-matter-to-anyone-but-you” BLUES.

We bought & installed a Sonnet SDXC-UHSI-E34 unit in the ol’ MacBook Pro’s ExpressCard slot... and bought a cheap PNY SDHC card to go with it. This “easy” solution for moving data (in my case, QuickTime video files) from one computer to another is giving me problems...

Well... struggling with technology is nothing new. It's just a more pronounced battle when you're an old guy who can't even keep his teeth glued in.

Surly-Mac is trying to record music-videos in an upstairs room and transfer same to the downstairs computer for editing. To assist, a Sonnet ExpressCard 34 High Speed SDXC Card reader/writer was installed in the attic-recording-MacBook in the hope that movies would be quickly copied to an SD Flashcard, carried downstairs... & on & on. A couple of test videos were made during the less-than-perfect learning period and this movie is the result.

Sound files always seem to suffer on YouTube.. you can click on the “podcast” link to the original QuickTime movie to get better quality if your system will allow it!
