I found myself talking to my computer's camera about harmonica, the blues...
Why does an Old Fart try to learn to play harmonica? AND why would this Old Guy play the BLUES? Well...
I'd watched a bunch of financial & international news on TV in the morning ... then sort of had the Blues all day.
After doing my 'practice lessons' on harmonica, I found myself talking to my computer's camera about harmonica, the blues... and blowin' a little harp. (I guess I really AM gettin' old...!)
This little introspective was interrupted by a nearly-screaming message being left on my downstairs telephone answering machine. The voice was so loud it carried into my Studio; the tone seemed so frantic I cut things short to investigate... I thought the message was from some cop or EMT informing me of an emergency involving my wife (who was out to church).
Naahh... turns out it was just another sleazy politician leaving some gratuitous pap on American’s phones...
